About this artifact

Ambergris was such a valuable product that Samuel Osborne, the managing agent for the barks Perry and Minnesota had this document printed. The document was meant to contain secret information about ambergris, its value, where it comes from and where it can be found. It authorizes the Captain to offer a $50 gold bounty to the crew member who first finds any ambergris in "considerable quantity."
